Meet Selena, Bennett's PSPCA Pet of the Week!
This beautiful lady has had a rough life. She originally came to the PSPCA almost 3 years ago after being rescued by our humane law enforcement team from a situation of abuse and neglect. She was living in deplorable conditions and was clearly not treated the way she deserved for a long time. She arrived in our care with wounds on her body, but she did not allow that to break her beautiful spirit!
Selena is the most loving lady, she is goofy and sweet and adores her people! Understandably, she takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she knows that you're a pal, she'll be your buddy for life.
Selena has now been released from court custody and is holding auditions for her new family! She is requesting that her new forever home be equipped with the following: FOOD, Walkies, No cats, Cuddles and kisses, and a quiet home with adult humans who don't leave her alone too often.
Selena's wonderful foster mom reports that she is a smart cookie, she knows her "watch me" command and is wonderful on leash! She loves sniffing around, taking sticks out of the stream, and sunbathing. She's a rough and tumble gal with other pups, so if you have a dog, we'd love them to meet and see if they get along! She is such a sweet girl who deserves nothing but love and snuggles ahead of her.
