PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum becomes even more of a plane lover’s paradise during this year’s Airfest. End the summer with a block party, games and an Earth Wind and Fire tribute band in Wildwood. John Williams strikes back at Ocean City POPS with fan favorites from Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Harry Potter. This is our last Shore Thing for the summer. Thank you all for tuning in both on-air and online. We’ll see you next year, but until then, there’s still plenty to do this weekend.

NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum becomes even more of a plane lover’s paradise during this year’s Airfest. There will also be a Women in History presentation series, live music, classic cars, face painting, vendors, exhibitors, food, beer and so much more! The event goes from Friday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 500 Forrestal Rd. in Cape May. Admission is $14 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-12.

Enjoy live music, entertainment, food and craft vendors, free children’s entertainment and so much more at the Wildwood End of Summer Block Party. The music lineup includes bands like Leaf Jumpers, Philly Heart and Soul and an Earth Wind and Fire tribute band. The party starts on Sunday, August 3 at Fox Park directly across from the Wildwood Convention Center from 1 to 10 p.m.

OCNJ Labor Day Race

Wanna get a quick run in? The Ocean City Labor Day Race has a 1-mile, a 5-mile and a kids race. Registration starts the day of on Monday, Sept. 4 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at 23rd St. Beach and it’s $35 for adults and $25 for kids.

Revolutionary War Encampment

Countdown to the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence at Historic Cold Spring Village. Authentic reenactors will turn back time to the Revolutionary War era with encampments, weaponry and demonstrations. There will be period-appropriate music, presentations and an opportunity to talk to the man himself, Benjamin Franklin. The event starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2 and goes until the weekend at 735 Seashore Rd. in Cape May. Tickets to the event are included with the price of admission.

Ocean City POPS Presents John Williams

With a career spanning nearly 80 decades, composer John Williams has touched the lives of nearly every generation. He’s most known for his work in Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and E.T. Mestro Vince Lee worked with Williams and has become the premiere interpreter of his music and legacy at Ocean City POPS. Listen to your favorite work on Sunday, Sept. 3 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier on 825 Boardwalk. Tickets start at $27.
