Sirianni unbothered by rumors about Eagles' players criticizing their own offense

Nick Sirianni responded to the rumors that some Eagles players believe the offense is too predictable, saying that does not bother him.

"Everybody is going to handle frustrations a little different and no, that doesn't bother me," Sirianni told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Wednesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "I hear something like that and I look to myself and say, 'OK, Is there validity to this and if there is how do we fix it?' You can't just be closed off to criticism. You have to be able to block criticism out, but you also have to have the awareness to understand when criticism is real and do something to fix.

"I'm not real concerned on—I'll take criticism if it's worth it from anywhere and use it to get better, always, and I've always felt like that...Criticism is not a bad thing. Does anyone love it at the time? No, but it's uncomfortable. But can you use it sometimes to help you grow? Of course."

According to Derrick Gunn, one player said, "Look at our pass routes compared to the Cowboys' pass routes. Our pass routes take too long to develop. Dallas gets their bleep out real quick."

Sirianni was asked about the offense and specifically, if he believes defenses have figured some things out about the Eagles' offense.

"Obviously these last two games have been bad stretches, but before I would say that no one really thought that way," Sirianni said. "Have we turned the ball over a little bit more this year? Yes. Do we need to the run ball more effectively at times? Yes...I will always say, no matter what the pass game will go through A.J. [Brown], DeVonta [Smith] and Dallas [Goedert] and the plays will be planned for them. That's how the game works and then there's times where the ball, based off coverage, goes somewhere else."
