"I think this is actually easy and I'm surprised there are not more people saying this," Marks said. "I feel like it's almost been out there for so long that we talked ourselves out it. But Russell Wilson, if and when he becomes available—and by the way, I'm not sitting back and waiting if I'm Howie Roseman. I'm not following the tampering like Brian Flores who wouldn't meet with whatever quarterback on the yacht down in Tampa or wherever they were.

"I'm being aggressive. I'm using back channels. I'm going out and letting Russell Wilson know, 'Listen if you're interested in leaving Seattle, we want you. You are our franchise, we will build around you, we will spend free-agent dollars around you. We didn't get you in 2012, we wanted to trade up and get you. Seattle got you. We want you now, we want you to be our quarterback.' Russell Wilson is my guy and it's not even close."

Angelo asked Marks if Wilson, at age 33, is too old?

"This isn't 1985, 1987 where Joe Montana is 37 years old and he's cooked. Right?" Marks said. "Like he's just barely hanging on. The nutrition, the yearly training, the amount of money these quarterbacks spend to stay healthy and play longer in their career. And it's not just Tom Brady being 44 years old. Aaron Rodgers is 37 still playing at a very high level. Drew Brees played into his 40s at a very high level. Russell Wilson takes care of his body."
