It is clear, at least to Joe DeCamara, that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has taken a step back this season.
"Jalen Hurts has officially regressed, dramatically, and it's a major problem," DeCamara said on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show, just hours after the Eagles lost their third straight game, 20-17 in Seattle.
"Now look, so to may be the play design and play calls of Brian Johnson and Nick Sirianni...I know this, I've seen enough pro football to know when a quarterback is not playing very well and this quarterback is not playing very well, it's just a basic fact."
Later in the show, DeCamara went on a rant about the Eagles' offense.
"My main thought is the frickin' offense, which knows the defense needs help, has to do its damn job!" he said. "The combination of Sirianni, Johnson and Hurts is killing them."
Hurts threw the ball 31 times in Monday night's loss to Seattle, recording just 143 yards passing, 0 TDs, and 2 INTs. For the season, Hurts now has 12 interceptions and five fumbles lost in 14 games.
