Midlothian, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com)  - Chesterfield's Utilities Department says the emergency water restrictions could last days.  Flooding from a massive storm Saturday knocked offline two of the county's water sources.

Utilities Director George Hays says the hope is that one, the Jahnke Road Pump Station the county uses with the city, should be fixed within a few days.  The other, the plant off of Hull Street, suffered 11 feet of flooding and may be out of commission for months.

Chesterfield is asking residents to only use water of essential needs right now.  Parts of the county received up to nine inches of rain on Saturday.
