Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Chesterfield Board of Supervisors, both Democrats and Republicans, have sent a letter to Governor Ralph Northam, calling the Commonwealth's vaccine campaign "totally defective." Chesterfield has had the most high profile vaccine shortage locally, as it had to postpone its vaccination of teachers because it didn't receive nearly enough shots.
In the letter, the Supervisors also complain that there was no way online to register for a vaccine, and that the local health district had to create one of its own. In a later interview, Vice-chair Chris Winslow says what they want to ensure is that Chesterfield receives its fair share.
