Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -  Both chambers of the General Assembly have given preliminary approval to spending two million on postage for mail-in ballots, as well as approving drop boxes for those ballots.  Both are initiatives of Governor Ralph Northam (D).

The postage will allow people to mail the ballots back at no cost.  Democrats say it will allow for access to the polls in the coronavirus pandemic.

Republicans, however, say the situation is ripe for fraud.  Final votes are expected on Friday.
