(RICHMOND, Va.) -- During a citywide task force walk-though on Monument Avenue last week, RPD officers arrested Keyon Hardy. He was taken into custody near the Lee Monument.
Hardy had an outstanding warrant for brandishing a firearm in the same area the day before. He is also charged with possession of ammunition by a felon.
The weapon that was recovered by officers was originally believed to be a military-style assault rifle but, upon closer examination, it was found to be a BB gun. There were no indicators on the weapon that it was not a real firearm.
