Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Governor Ralph Northam says we could see some limited reopening of Virginia's economy on May 8th.  However, to get to that point, Virginia would need to see two weeks of decreasing percentages of cases and hospitalizations, and an increase in testing.  No reopening will occur before that date, however, says Northam.

Northam says they will need to have the capacity to test 10,000 Virginians a day to make limited reopening possible.  Also, social distancing will have to be maintained, and telework and masks will be recommended.

Virginia is under a "stay at home" order until June 10th.  Entertainment businesses are ordered closed until the May 8th date.
