Phase 2 At Least A Week Away

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Governor Ralph Northam says more data is needed, and as aresult, Virginia will not be entering Phase 2 of reopening this week.  Northam says the earliest restrictions could be loosened is the end of next week.  Richmond is entering Phase 1 starting on Friday.

Northam does say the trends in the data are encouraging.  The Governor also says he will have more on the reopening of schools next week.

Virginia's mandatory indoor mask requirement also goes into effect on Friday.
