Richmond, VA _ Richmond Fire crews were called to battle an apartment fire in the 2300 block of Cecil Road near the Virginia Union University campus. A second alarm was called after the fire spread quickly to a second apartment.
It took crews about an hour to get the fire under control. Four apartments were damaged by the fire. The Red Cross is assisting 12 adults and five children. No injuries were reported.
