Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Schools Superintendent Jason Kamras says the deicision to go all virtual for the fall semester is the "hardest decision" he's had to make in education. Richmond's school board voted 8-1 to go virtual Tuesday night.
Kamras says he realizes the decision will create hardships, and that virtual learning does not work for everyone. He says the meal program will continue as long as the system is learning from home.
Kamras says the set-up will be different in the fall compared to the spring, as classes will be live instead of recorded. Hanover decided to give parents a choice between virutal and five day a week in school classes. The other local districts decide next week.
