Violence continues to rage in America's cities as 35 people were shot, one fatally, over the weekend in New York City.
According to Fox News, these victims were part of 28 different shootings total in the city, an increase of more than 500 percent from the same timeframe last year, when there were just five shootings.
The single death was a one-year-old boy who was shot and killed at a barbecue near Raymond Bush Playground. Three other people were also shot in the incident and were transported to a nearby hospital where they were treated for their wounds.
