During her report on "NBC Nightly News" on Thursday, chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell was practically beside herself that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) had dropped out of the 2020 Democrat presidential race.
Painting Warren as a trailblazer of sorts, Mitchell hailed the socialist as an "iconic progressive," while completely avoiding her lying about her alleged Native American heritage. She also declared that in "a field that began with six women, Warren is the last leading woman to bow out," disregarding the campaign of Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), which is still active.
