Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is not shy about letting America know how much he loves communism, a point he reinforced on Sunday.
After being asked to explain comments he made in the 1980s about Castro, Sanders said, "We’re very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba, but, you know, it’s simply unfair to say everything is bad."
He added, "You know, when Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?"
