Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said Thursday that "10 to 15 percent" of Americans are "not very good people."
Biden made the remarks during a virtual town hall Thursday night hosted by actor Don Cheadle on "The Shade Room" and spoke about race relations in America and what he would do to improve that if he were elected.
Biden said, "Do we really think that this is as good as we can be as a nation? I don't think the vast majority of people think that. There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the people out there that are just not very good people. But that's not who we are. The vast majority of people are decent. We have to appeal to that and we have to unite people."
For those keeping score at home, that means the man who wants to be your leader thinks that 30-45 million people in this country are "not very good people."
