Bipartisan majorities in both chambers of the Pennsylvania state legislature have passed a resolution to override Gov. Tom Wolf's controversial coronavirus lockdown orders, Breitbart News reports.
The resolution will effectively end Wolf's emergency declaration spurred by the virus that he signed into effect on March 6. The order was set to end June 4, but Wolf renewed it on June 3 to help "state agencies with resources and supports as we continue mitigation and recovery."
The resolution passed with support from both parties - 31-19 in the Senate and 121-81 in the House.
