A British charity is working on developing a new way to detect the coronavirus early: dogs.
Medical Detection Dogs, founded in 2008 to use a dogs' keen sense of smell to detect diseases in humans, is currently working on training canines to sniff out COVID-19.
The dogs are trained in the organization's facility in Milton Keynes by sniffing out different samples of the virus and alerting the trainers when they have found it. When they do, they receive a treat.
