Monday's White House coronavirus task force briefing turned into a melee after President Trump showed a video of the media downplaying the virus, which caused the self-righteous "real" reporters to lose their minds.
Just about every reporter in the room lashed out at the president, including CBS White House correspondent Paula Reid, who got into a heated exchange with Trump while seemingly blaming him for the Americans that have died from coronavirus.
While President Trump was criticizing Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden and other Democrats for calling his initial China travel ban "racist" and "xenophobic," Reid came unhinged:
"But what did you do with that time that you - the argument is that you bought yourself some time and you didn’t need to prepare hospitals. You didn't use it to ramp up testing. Right now, nearly 20 million people are unemployed," she barked.
Trump immediately clapped back, "You're so - you’re so - you’re so disgraceful. It's so disgraceful the way you say that."
Reid then said, "Tens of thousands of Americans are dead."
After a testy back and forth, the president got in a big shot, "Look, look. You know you’re a fake. You know that. Your whole network, the way you covered is fake and most of you - not all of you but the people are wise to you. That's why you have a lower - a lower approval rating than you ever have before times probably three."
