On Monday's "All In" on MSNBC, host Chris Hayes could not believe that networks still carried the coronavirus task force briefings live, calling it "crazy" when "you’ve got the MyPillow guy getting up there talking about reading the Bible."
Hayes began by calling the briefings Trump "propaganda sessions, regularly spewing misinformation and lies when he is at the podium." He also compared them to Trump campaign rallies.
Taking the chance to further sensationalize things, Hayes bellowed, "As dead bodies are being loaded into morgue trucks in New York City because the city is running out of space and hospitals. The president in a new low even for him was bragging this weekend and at the press conference what good TV ratings he’s getting."
He added, "It’s obviously above my pay grade. I don’t make the call if we take him or not, but it seems crazy to me that everyone’s still taking them when you’ve got the MyPillow guy getting up there talking about reading the Bible."
