Coronavirus Lockdowns Hurt Rather Than Helped

It seems the more time goes on, the more we hear that the coronavirus lockdowns did not actually help slow the spread.

CNBC anchor Carl Quintanilla tweeted on Wednesday about J.P. Morgan financial expert Marko Kolanovic publishing a "devastating piece" which argued that COVID-19 infection rates have actually declined in states that are lifting lockdown restrictions.

The only question is: Why exactly is this "devastating?" Shouldn't the fact that infection rates are declining in states that are reopening give us hope? Hope that we may soon be able to get back to work and some semblance of normalcy? Not if you're the media.
