CNN's Virtue Signaling Gets Wires Crossed

CNN Brianna Keilar

In its non-stop efforts to pander to the Black Lives Matter crowd, CNN appeared to accidentally allow someone to say on their network that an unborn child is, in fact, a human.

Monday on "CNN Newsroom," host Brianna Keilar spoke to Ebony Chisholm, a black mother-to-be who wrote an op-ed entitled, "A letter to my beautiful, black unborn baby," that ran in the Hartford Courant.

Keilar, of course, shared with Chisholm how "moved" she and her cohorts at CNN were by her letter and asked her to read it in its entirety on air.

Chisholm then proceeded to describe her baby's development in the womb, which, much to the chagrin of the left, pointed to its humanity:

I’m now in the beginning stages of my second trimester. During this time of pregnancy is when you’re beginning to move your arms and legs, you have all of your fingers and toes, your facial features are becoming more defined and my stomach is starting to become more noticeable. Your dad and I should be thinking about who you will look like more, when will we feel you kick for the first time, whether you are a boy or a girl.

Then she moved on to the crux of the letter, which expressed her fears over how her baby "or any black child could easily be another George, another Breonna, another Ahmaud, or any of the other hundreds of black men and women killed by law enforcement or white civilians."

She did, however, fail to mention that abortions kill three times as many black babies than white babies and far more than "racist" cops.
