Last Wednesday, CNN allowed a Mike Bloomberg supporter to purport a misleading story about her "child" being killed in a gang shooting.
On CNN Newsroom, Calandrian Simpson Kemp joined host Brooke Baldwin and passed over some crucial details about her son, George, being killed in a shooting - a story that was featured in a Bloomberg campaign ad which aired during the Super Bowl. Though Kemp described her son as a "child," he was actually a 20-year-old gang member who allegedly sparked the incident that led to him being shot.
Nevertheless, Baldwin never questioned or challenged Kemp on how a stricter gun law would have prevented her son's death.
