Asking A Question? Yeah, That's Racist

There is nothing new under the sun. President Trump says something referring to any person of color, the media labels him a racist.

That was the case on Monday evening on CNN's "Situation Room," as host Wolf Blitzer and self-proclaimed media watchdog Brian Stelter blasted President Trump for telling CBS News White House correspondent and Chinese-American Weijia Jiang to "ask China" her question about coronavirus testing.

Moments after the president abruptly ended the briefing following the exchange with Jiang, Mr. Potato Head told Blitzer, "It is racist to look at an Asian-American White House Correspondent and say, 'ask China.'"

Stelter, of course, made sure to take the opportunity to drive home the idea that President Trump is a racist, claiming Monday's incident was "part of a pattern of behavior from the President that goes back many years."

He also added the baseless accusation that, "the President routinely targets reporters who are women and people of color…As much as we are competitive in the press corps, I think it’s important we show solidarity in moments like this and call out racial kind of reactions from the President."
