Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) announced on Monday that he is ending his presidential campaign, leaving a 2020 Democratic field that was once lauded as the most diverse in history.
Booker made the announcement amidst the struggle of low polling numbers and limited funds. The list of Democratic candidates now includes just one African American candidate, former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick.
