Former Democrat Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel infamously said, "never let a crisis go to waste," during the 2008 financial crisis. And as absurd and cold as it sounds, its a strategy liberals have employed for years.
Even as we continue to hear good news about the coronavirus curve starting to flatten, businesses possibly reopening and may finally be starting to get a glimpse at the light at the end of the tunnel, Democrats tell us that hope is foolish and bash President Trump when he shows any optimism. All while saying "we're all in this together" and acting as if they're extremely worried about the ever-rising unemployment rate.
So why no good news? Why not allow the American people to have hope and look forward to this virus passing?
Because that does not serve the Democrat playbook.
