Graffiti calling for the death of white people and displaying insults towards the police was discovered on the town hall building in Zaventem, Belgium.

The phrases, "death to white people" and "f**k the police" were found on the side of the building last weekend. Mayor Ingrid Holemans has said that the statements are related to protests of the death of George Floyd.

"It's a reaction to what happened in the United States," Holemans said, according to Belgian news site 7sur7. "It has to do with the death of George Floyd, the African American who died during a police intervention."
