Democrats are continuing to shamelessly show their true colors during the coronavirus pandemic, including the fact that the don't really care about helping Americans.
During a virtual news conference Monday, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) flat out admitted that she and her progressive colleagues have blocked additional financial aid to small businesses during the crisis because they don't want to give up their political leverage.
Jayapal and her fellow progressives and activists on the conference - entitled #PutPeopleFirst - also lobbied for illegal immigrants to be included on the next wave of coronavirus relief.
The congresswoman said, "We don't know what's in the package yet, we only know what's been reported. But I think what you're hearing from all of us on the call is that we have real concerns about giving away leverage now without getting some of the priorities we need."
Yep, she just came right out and said it. Democrats would rather hold on to their power than help American citizens.
