The rift between Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has made national headlines and went to a new level after the Democratic debate Tuesday night.
Following an awkward moment during the debate when Sanders was asked about his alleged comments to Warren that a woman could never win the presidency, the Massachusetts senator refused to shake Sanders hand in an exchange afterwards.
CNN recently published the audio of their short conversation after the debate, in which Warren accuses Sanders of calling her a liar. During the brief interaction:
Warren: "I think you called me a liar on national TV"
Sanders: "What?"
Warren: "I think you called me a liar on national TV"
Sanders: "No, let's not do it right now ..."
