A former CIA station said that U.S. Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell is taking down the "bloated bureaucracy" in the intelligence community in order to make it more efficient.

Daniel Hoffman, a former CIA station chief, told Sirius XM's "Breitbart News Saturday" last week that the intelligence community has begun to get behind Grenell's efforts to make the Office of National Intelligence (ODNI) more efficient.

Hoffman also praised the many staff changes that Grenell, who is also the U.S. ambassador to Germany, has made since his appointment by President Donald Trump.
