A Democrat legislator in Michigan is in trouble with the law after being busted for a suspected DWI in December.

Michigan state Rep. Rebekah Warren (D-Ann Arbor) was caught on a police dashcam swerving in and out of traffic before hitting a guardrail on I-75 in Auburn Hills, MI, according to WDIV.

Police received a call about a drunk driver around 11 p.m. on December 26. After they detained Warren, she failed multiple sobriety tests and refused a breathalyzer. She was taken in later to get a blood test, which revealed her blood alcohol content was .21.

The recently revealed video footage also captures Warren telling the arresting officers this would be "the most famous arrest you ever made."

Warren also asked the officer, "Do you understand there’s going to be a moment where we’re both going to be on TV, and it’s gonna be, like, 'Senator from Ann Arbor’s career's over,'?"

She added, "I just don’t want this on the camera for my future. Just don’t ruin my career."
