CNN "State of the Union" host Jake Tapper is catching flak for not challenging Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) when she pushed the lie that President Trump called the coronavirus a "hoax."
The "Squad" member was complaining that apparently the country had not started mass production of masks and ventilators when she said, "First, we were hearing it was a hoax. Then we were hearing that everything was fine. Then we were hearing that the fundamentals of the economy was OK, until the crash comes."
Instead of pushing back on Ocasio-Cortez, Tapper changed the subject.
