While reporting from New Hampshire on the Democratic primaries, MSNBC anchor Katy Tur tried to sugar coat Bernie Sanders' socialist extremism and was taken to school by a Trump voter she questioned.

Tur of course hyped up Sanders winnin in New Hampshire and brought up how he had won it in 2016 as well, saying, "There are New Hampshire voters here who are really excited about Bernie Sanders. And they think that he's not divisive and that they think that he's got good ideas and they believe he’s somebody who can accomplish those ideas, they’re the die-hard Bernie supporters."

She added that in 2016 people were afraid of the socialist senator because his policies were too bold (as if they've changed or become dumbed down over the years). She then turned to a voter and asked who he voted for, to which the man responded, "Donald John Trump."

When Tur asked inquired if Bernie Sanders was appealing to the man, he laid it out for her, "The whole ideology would be destructive to the country. It’s anti-growth, it's anti-family. It's anti-American. And as a Roman Catholic, it’s anti-life."
