The number of knife crimes in England and Wales has risen to a historic level, increasing seven percent over the last year, Breitbart News London reports.
According to figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), from the year through September, there were 44,771 offences involving a knife. In England and Wales alone, there were 617 homicides, with 40 percent being committed with a knife or pointed object.
Meanwhile, in London, the number of child stabbings reached its highest point in 11 years in November and the murder rate rose to a 10-year high, including a knife attack last week in which three men were killed.
