Presidential Historian Jon Meacham said on MSNBC Friday evening that despite Joe Biden leading President Trump significantly in nearly every major poll, many people who will vote for the president "are not going to tell pollsters."

Speaking on MSNBC's 11th Hour, Meacham pointed out that Joe Biden's campaign "is being careful about this as well" because they know that even with 100 days to go before the election, "it's a long way to go."

He also added that 100 days is an "eternity" in a campaign, particularly in 2020 "because of the tumult of this remarkable year."
