Fake News Finally Catches Up With NBC Boss

The new head of NBCUniversal recently announced a shakeup in management that includes letting go of longtime NBC News chairman Andy Lack.

The move by new CEO Jeff Shell means that Lack will be gone by the end of month, instead of after the presidential election. Lack had been criticized recently in light of the release of Ronan Farrow's book "Catch and Kill," in which Farrow claimed that NBC News executives - including Lack's top aide Noah Oppenheim - had suppressed his reporting on Harvey Weinstein.

Lack has also been accused of downplaying a rape allegation against former "Today" host Matt Lauer.
