House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told CNN anchor Jake Tapper to "just calm down" on Sunday after he confronted her on coronavirus relief.
On CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday, Tapper pressed Pelosi on why Congress had not given more aid to state and local governments as requested and asked the speaker if she and leading Democrats had made a "tactical mistake."
Tapper said, "So, (New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo) says he would have insisted on state funding in the last bill. Was this a tactical mistake by you and Senator (Chuck) Schumer?"
Pelosi snapped back, "Just calm down. We will have state and local, and we will have it in a very significant way. It's no use going on to what might have been."
