CNN continues to show their disdain against any use of hydroxychloroquine as a possible treatment for coronavirus just because it has been suggested by President Trump.
On Monday's broadcast of "New Day," anchor John Berman began to bicker with Director of the White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, Peter Navarro, over Navarro's support of using the drug.
Berman began, "I have spoken to Dr. Rob Gore who is on the front lines treating patients inside a hospital in Brooklyn and as you said, yes, they are giving patients hydroxychloroquine. When I asked him whether it works, he says, 'We don't know.' They simply don't know."
Navarro wasn't having it, replying, "One thing I would like to ask you to do, John, as you speak to these doctors and nurses and other people at the front lines. Ask them how many of them are taking hydroxy as a prophylactic in the war zone."
