A video shows Webster, Massachusetts Police Chief Michael Shaw laying face-down on the ground at the behest of a Black Lives Matter protest on Saturday.

Per the Webster Telegram, Chief Shaw joined the crowd in laying on the ground for eight minutes and 46 seconds - the same amount of time Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin held his knee on George Floyd's neck before he died - while "screams of 'mama' and 'I can’t breathe,' the last words of George Floyd."

While pictures and videos from protests around the country show some officers kneeling with protesters, Shaw took it a step further, lying on the ground with protesters in a manner reflecting Floyd's death.
