Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D) told said in an interview that she will be president by 2040.

Abrams was interviewed by FiveThirtyEight last week and was asked by Senior Political Writer Clare Malone if the U.S. would elect a black woman president in the next two decades. Abrams, responded, "Yes, absolutely."

Malone then asked Abrams if she thought America would elect her as president, to which she quickly replied, "Yes, I do."

In addition to her fame attained by refusing to accept the results of the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election, Abrams explored a brief career as an erotic novelist under a pseudonym "Selena Montgomery."
