Willard Mitt Romney has made it his life's mission to be the Democrats' favorite Republican, so of course the media types were positively gushing over the Utah senator following his vote in the impeachment trial.

After Romney voted "guilty" on the impeachment charge of abuse of power, NBC Nightly News lauded Romeny as a political hero, praising him for "voting his conscience over his party" and giving him the title, "the president of the Republican resistance to Donald Trump."
