It looks like the Richmond Coliseum renovation may not be entirely dead after all.
A developer in Washington, D.C., is offering to purchase the Navy Hill land from the city of Richmond and redevelop it, which would include renovating the Richmond Coliseum.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that just weeks after the city council killed the proposed $1.5 Navy Hill plan from Mayor Levar Stoney, Douglas Development Corp. has submitted an offer of $15 million for the 14-acre plot.
