Virginia Democrats have stayed busy during this General Assembly session as they look to infringe upon more of your rights.
The General Assembly voted on several key issues on Tuesday (also known as "crossover day"), including a minimum wage increase, casino gambling and of course, gun control.
According to WRIC, the House voted to pass a bill (HB 961) that would ban the sale of so-called "assault weapons," which would include AR-15s. Unlike past proposals, current owners would not have to turn in their weapons and do not have to register them with the government.
The bill also puts a ban on trigger activators, "high capacity magazines" that hold more than 12 rounds of ammunition and suppressors.
