Tax Dollars Will Be Used To Send Richmond Residents To Hotels

Levar Stoney wants Richmond to stay closed, but he also wants to use your tax dollars from your small or non-existent paycheck to give hotel rooms for those who test positive for the coronavirus.

Stoney announced during a press conference on Thursday that the city will now offer hotel rooms to individuals who test positive for the coronavirus and aren't able to quarantine at home.

Richmond currently has 888 cases of coronavirus, with 123 hospitalizations and 20 deaths.
