A large group of armed protesters showed up to the home of Richmond Councilwoman Kim Gray on Wednesday night and surrounded her residence.

Gray told Richmond's Morning News host John Reid on Thursday that a group of about 200 people carrying guns and megaphones gathered in front her home around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night and blocked off the street, though she did specify what exactly they were protesting.

She also said that she called Richmond Police multiple times and no officers responded.

Gray added that Mayor Levar Stoney, whom she is running against in the mayoral race, has not reached out to her yet in the aftermath of the incident.
