In a large twist of irony, Rev. Al Sharpton spoke out on MSNBC against the riots in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd.

Friday morning on "Morning Joe," Sharpton decried the rioters and told them that justice would not be served by them appearing "criminal."

He then added, "As I walked around Minneapolis yesterday . . . some of the stores that are being damaged are black-owned stores! So we cannot become so reckless that we are destroying each other in our rage."

Which begs the question: would Sharpton feel better if the businesses being destroyed were primarily white-owned? Just ask Freddy's Fashion Mart.
