Stafford County Deputies have arrested a man accused of smashing the window of a car with a one-year-old child inside during a protest.
8News reports that Victor Miles II, 32, was part of a group of about 200 protesters blocking traffic at the Falmouth Bridge on Monday night around 7 p.m. Police say Miles broke rear passenger window of a vehicle trying to get through the crowd.
The shattered glass landed on the one-year-old and both adults inside the vehicle. Only one of the adults sustained minor cuts on their arm.
Miles was later identified and arrested after police received tips from the public.
He has been charged with vandalism, unlawful wounding, two counts assault and battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was reportedly later released.
