Congress is now considering several other measures to provide more relief for citizens hit hard by the economic shut downs across the country, and President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he wants a payroll tax cut to be part of the next package.
During a Fox News town hall on Sunday, the president said, "I told (Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin) just today, we’re not doing anything unless we get a payroll tax cut. That is so important to the success of our country."
But what would a payroll tax cut mean? And how could it help?
