A new study shows that the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine helps accelerate the recovery of COVID-19 patients.
The study from Chinese researchers found that patients with a mild form of the virus who were administered the drug saw their symptoms alleviated faster than those who were not given the drug. Those who were given hydroxychloroquine were also less likely to see their symptoms worsen.
